20th Century Design Market
September 28-30, 2012

Save the date for 20th Century Design Market, an entire weekend devoted to midcentury design. Think Mad Men, Eames, Herman Miller. Come dressed as your favorite Mad Men character and sip on retro cocktails and tasty bites during MOD Night @ the Museum on Friday September 28, 2012. Plus, the weekend includes the three-day market, a preview cocktail party, shop and savor brunch, food trucks, a special exhibition on the iconic midcentury design of the Herman Miller Company, presented by Continental Office Environments, and a talk with Eames Demetrios, the grandson of Charles & Ray Eames.

Wednesday – September 26
Tour of private homes in Columbus, 9 am to 4 pm
($100 Member, $110 Nonmember)

Thursday – September 27

Preview Cocktail Party – Exclusive early access shopping, 6 to 8 pm
($75 per ticket, $50 is tax-deductible)

Friday – September 28

Market open from 10 am to 5 pm Shop for the best of midcentury design.
($10, 3-day market pass )

Mid-Century Design – Expert View Talk – Local designer Fritz Harding presents a fun and interesting overview of what makes mid-century design lasting and livable, 1 pm
(Talk included with 3-Day Market Pass)

MOD Nite @ the Museum – Come dressed as your favorite Mad Men character and enjoy retro cocktails & tasty bites while you shop, 6 to 8 pm
($30 per ticket, includes 2 drink tickets, or get two parties for the price of one: $125 for MOD Nite and Art FUSION)

Saturday – September 29

Market open from 10 am to 5 pm
($10, 3-day market pass )

Shop & Savor Brunch – Stroll the Market with a Bloody Mary or Bellini, 11 am to 1 pm
($35 per ticket, includes includes 3-Day Market Pass )

Featured Guest Speaker –Eames Demetrios, grandson of Charles & Ray Eames and will share insights about the titans of modern design known for their innovative furniture designs and contributions to architecture, film and industrial & graphic design, 2 pm
