CMA is on it’s way!

As many of you already know, CMA has undertaken an endowment and capital campaign to renovate and expand the Museum’s building and programs to better serve our community. We recently held a celebration to mark the first phase of the process, the beginning of the renovation of Beaton Hall. Once the project is complete, Beaton, previously used as a classroom building for CCAD, will become office space for many CMA staff members (a large number of whom have been sharing very cramped quarters for many years now).

The entire evening was lovely. Jeff Stahler, who does such wonderful editorial cartoons for the Columbus Dispatch, created a fantastic cartoon that served as the invitation for the event (and the mural that you’ll see several guests painting below).
