One highlight of our trip was our visit The Museum of Fine Art’s new American Wing. Four levels of their American collection are now housed there. A wonderful exhibition! However, I found myself comparing our own American collection to theirs AND the way they chose to hang the artwork. I am eagerly looking forward to our new reinstallation. It promises to be innovative, creative and WONDERFUL (from what I’ve heard during my docent trainings). We have so much to be proud of at the CMA: great art and an incredible museum staff who demonstrate a wonderful vision for our museum. I am eagerly looking forward to the reinstallation on January 1st!
