Music + with Classical 101

Come enjoy brunch and chamber music marking the 100th anniversary of the Harlem Renaissance and featuring Antoine Clark, Music Director of McConnell Arts Center Chamber Orchestra during this new program, a partnership between CMA and Classical 101. Start with a buffet brunch featuring culinary delights from CMA’s Schokko Café, then hear music and poetry connected to our exhibition, I, Too, Sing America. Cost of this program is $50 for nonmembers and $40 for members.
Jazz Masters Series
Richard Lopez Presents Boss Tenors, Live from Cbus!

This series of jazz performances features the best of traditional and contemporary jazz offerings with area master musicians. Inspired by the famed recordings of Gene Ammons and Sonny Stitt, Columbus saxophone titans will engage in a friendly saxophone duel, in the spirit of the famous Harlem “cutting contests” on many wonderful standard blues, ballad and swing favorites. Featuring Pete Mills and Michael Cox on tenor saxophones and John Allen on bass and Zach Compston on drums. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors, and $7 for students. CMA members receive $2 off each individual ticket.
Thursday Night Live Series with Carpe Diem
Join CMA featuring the Carpe Diem String Quartet for some non-classical, out-of-the-box performances. These fun, casual concerts are a great way to spend a Thursday evening. Bring a friend, grab a drink, and enjoy live music at the Museum. Thursday Night Live tickets are $10 for nonmembers and $5 for CMA members. Tickets also available at the admissions desk. Randolph Foster Seize the Music Series with Carpe Diem String Quartet
Unwind on a Sunday afternoon with a classical concerts brought to you by the Carpe Diem String Quartet. These full-length concerts feature classical music at its finest. Each concert will have a tie to a CMA exhibition or collection.
