Among American art museums, revenue from endowment funds provides, on average, 25% of operating expenses. For the Columbus Museum of Art, just 9% of the current operating budget comes from endowment revenue.

A robust endowment, which provides dependable revenue year after year, will ensure that future generations continue to enjoy great experiences at the Columbus Museum of Art.

The Museum will enhance and enrich the visitor's experience with:

We envision a 150,000-square-foot facility with new space to accommodate the Museum's outstanding collection, world-renowned exhibitions, and expanded public and community events. Among major Ohio museums, the Columbus Museum of Art ranks smallest in size.
