Family Sundays
For families with children ages 6 and older
Family Sundays are lively drop-in events when families with school-age children can enjoy and discover art together! Each Family Sunday celebrates an artist, current exhibition, or theme from the CMA collection, and each offers a variety of interactive gallery activities, hands-on art projects, performing arts concerts, and special exhibitions.
All activities and programs encourage adults and children to imagine, create, and discover great works of art together.

This dynamic drop-in program is for adults and children to explore and create art together. Families will enjoy fun, interactive gallery activities and unique art projects. Doodles art projects and activities change each month.

This spirited drop-in program is for adults and children to have fun and explore art together! Each 1st Saturdays program celebrates an artist, current exhibition, or theme from the CMA collection, and each includes an interactive gallery game, hands-on art project, and a related arts performance such as music, storytelling, or theater.

Please note that the Summer Art Workshops program is on hiatus for 2010 due to the building renovation and will return in 2011.
Summer Art Workshops at the Columbus Museum of Art provide unique and dynamic creative opportunities for children entering grades one through six. Led by experienced art teachers, each workshop offers dynamic art projects, fun gallery games, and other creative opportunities. Playfulness, imagination, and creative problem-solving are the hallmark of these innovative art workshops.

Student Exhibition Gallery
All ages
Do you have an interesting student art project or exhibition that you would like to display at the Museum? Please let us know. We install month-long exhibitions in the Nationwide Studio in Eye Spy throughout the school year. We also hold a reception is held for the students, their families, and friends to celebrate the students' accomplishments. Work should be two dimensional, matted, and labeled.
