Big Picture Lecture Series
CMA's collaboration with The Ohio State University's Institute for Collaborative Research and Public Humanities continues in October with a series of lectures focused on the exhibition Objects of Wonder from The Ohio State University. Admission to all lectures is free, and each lecture is followed by a reception.

Bring your scarlet and gray to CMA to cheer on the Buckeyes when they face Michigan State in Lansing on October 18. Join us for all things Ohio State including the big game on the big screen, food and beverage vendors including Schmidts, Donatos, and Graeter's, live entertainment, OSU trivia and prizes, games including corn hole, OSU cheers, and special guided tours of Objects of Wonder. Nannette Maciejunes will lead the crowd in rousing rendition of OH - IO. So pack up your family and friends, throw on your buckeye beads, and enjoy this community event celebrating art and athletics.

From Wonder to Insight: Uncommon Arrangements and Smart Things

Join us for a public conversation with University of Chicago professor Barbara Maria Stafford and Museum of Jurassic Technology Director David Hildebrand Wilson. The Museum of Jurassic Technology in Culver City, California, is a modern-day cabinet of curiosities, filled with bizarre specimens, inexplicable oddities, and unfathomable phenomena. Stafford explores the intersections between the visual arts and the physical and biological sciences from the early modern to the contemporary era.
Admission is $10 for nonmembers, $5 for members.
