Sessions Society

Sessions Society provides members with the opportunity to explore art in all its forms, meet interesting and diverse people, and visit fascinating art-related venues both locally and regionally that would not otherwise be available to them. Sessions Society presents several social and art related events annually. These events include tours of museums, artists’ studios, galleries, and personal collections.

Sessions Membership

CMA members at the reciprocal level or higher may join Sessions Society. Sessions membership dues are $150 per person per year. Each Soiree is an additional fee, payable when making a reservation.

Soirees are open to Sessions Society members and first-time guests. Due to the size limit of some venues, early registration is encouraged.

Thursday, October 5, 2017 | 6:30-8:30 PM: A personal tour at the home of artists Estelle and David Knapp, featuring their diverse collection of work from industrial paintings to portraiture. $20 [Tickets]

Dec 7, 2017 |Sessions Matinee 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM: Holiday luncheon at Scioto Country Club featuring presentation on James R. Hopkins: Faces of the Heartland. $30 [Tickets]

Jan 25, 2018 | 6:30-8:30 PM: A special evening at the King Arts Complex, including a private tour featuring works by Aminah Robinson, Faith Ringgold, and Debra Priestly. $20 [Tickets]

Mar 8, 2018 | 6:30-8:30 PM: Lively after-hours reception and behind-the-scenes tour at the Columbus College of Art and Design. $20 [Tickets]

Apr 19, 2018 | 6:30-8:30 PM: Personal tour at the home of Jeff Baker featuring his extensive collection of work by Ohio artists as well as European landscape “souvenirs” acquired abroad. $20 [Tickets]

May 10, 2018 | 6:30-8:30 PM: After-hours reception at Keny Galleries featuring historic exhibition of American Master Watercolors and drawings. $20 [Tickets]
