Illusions of Eden: Visions of the American Heartland offers a unique perspective on the elusive character of the American Midwest through its visual arts, past and present.  A collection of over 100 paintings, prints, and photographs created between World Wars I and II is joined by four major contemporary environmental installations providing a binocular view of a region of the United States whose artistic culture is often overlooked.
