Big Picture Lecture: The Art & Science of LEGO

OSU Professor of Physiology and Cell Biology, Associate Professor of Internal Medicine, Cardiology Paul Janssen will speak about how his involvement with LEGO® building blocks connects to his work in the laboratory. Janssen is a member of the Central Ohio LEGO Train Club. Works by Janssen and the COLTC are included in Think Outside The Brick. This lecture is presented in collaboration with The OSU Institute for Collaborative Research and Public Humanities. This program is free, no registration requested.
Family Adventures

Your family team may embark on a scavenger hunt, imagine yourselves inside a painting, or discover a work of art that tells a family story. Magnificent Menagerie: A Last Look at the Lod Mosaic

Join curator Carole Genshaft in a slide-illustrated discussion of the Lod Mosaic in the Cardinal Health Auditorium. At nearly three hundred square feet and 1,700 years old, the stunning Lod Mosaic is among the best preserved ever found. The discussion will be followed by a tour of the exhibition Marvelous Menagerie. Seize this last, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the mosaic before it returns to its permanent home in Israel.
