Family Adventures Tour

Share ideas, laugh, and play games during this docent guided experience. Your family team may embark on a scavenger hunt, imagine yourselves inside a painting, or discover a work of art that tells a family story. Family Adventures are a great way to share quality time and make new memories together. Family programs are supported by Cardinal Health Foundation. This program is free with admission. No registration requested.

Initiate a conversation with one of CMA's trained guides. Get your questions answered, chat about a work of art, or be privy to an inside story.
Take A Break

This fun, hands-on workshop is a great way to play and create as a family. Explore unique materials and take home a project that will engage children and parents alike throughout the school break.
• Drop-in any time between 1:00 and 4:00 PM
• For families with children age five and older
• The workshop fee is $7 per child for nonmembers (not included with admission); with a special member discount of $5 per child.
• Parents play for free
• No reservations requested; tickets may be purchased at the door
Learning to Look: Mark Rothko

Take a stroll through the galleries accompanied by a CMA docent and learn more about our collection and special exhibitions. Puppets of Avenue Q

Beth Kattelman, Associate Professor and Associate Curator of the Lawrence and Lee Theatre Research Institute at OSU, will present a program about creating puppets for The Contemporary American Theatre Company’s recent production of Avenue Q. This program is free with admission, no registration requested. Presented in conjunction with our Strings Attached Czech Puppets exhibition, the largest exhibition ever in the US of Czech puppets.
