Art Escapes
Majestic Spain, October 3-14, 2013 Director’s Trip
Join CMA Executive Director Nannette Maciejunes for a fascinating tour of Spain’s most majestic locations: the Prado Museum in Madrid, the Alhambra in Granada, la Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, and Toledo—the city of three cultures. We’ll discover artistic treasures from the old masters of Western Europe to the contemporary art scene in Barcelona. Because Spain was for centuries a melting pot of cultural diversity, we will visit Renaissance towns, Moorish mosques and markets, ancient Jewish synagogues, Gothic cathedrals, a fishing village, and an eleventh-century monastery on top of a mountain. There is an optional day-long excursion to Bilbao. Group size is limited. Deposits due June 30, 2013. More information on the current Art Escape trip here or contact Nancy Turner at 614-629-0301.
