Gallery Description

Experience the creative potential of shapes in this family-friendly installation located in the JP Morgan Chase Center for Creativity.

Shapes are a visual language used to tell stories and evoke emotions across cultures. From found object sculptures to woven textiles, explore how select artists in the Museum’s collection use shapes to create harmony, investigate their surroundings, and represent real or imagined experiences.

Visitors are invited to think like artists at hands-on activities inspired by the works of art on view.
