Friends of Jewish Art Presents Anselm Kiefer: Painting as a Personal Voyage

Meet members of Friends of Jewish Art and enjoy a reception and lecture featuring Kent State Professor Emeritus Carol Salus. Kiefer, born in Germany in 1945, became known for many works dealing with the Holocaust. This work reveals his knowledge of German history and the importance of art in confronting trauma, remembering, and healing.

This program is free for members of Friends of Jewish Art (FJA).
Friends of Jewish Art is an special interest group of Columbus Museum of Art that supports exhibitions, programs, and acquisitions of Jewish art.
