Bring what you would like to lay on during the ceremony. i.e. yoga mat, pillow, padding, blanket, etc. A blanket is encouraged because of the variability of the temperature in the room. Everyone has different preferences and we want you to be comfortable.

Bring a journal and pen so you can reflect on anything that is brought up during the ceremony or to write down any messages that come through for you. We will have a space where you can place objects you would like to be charged with the energy of the night. (please nothing large, small items preferred like crystals, jewelry, bones, etc.)

If you would like to experience the self guided audio experience composed by Jesse Cale we recommend bringing headphones, earpods, or earbuds.

What’s a Sound Bath?

A sound bath is a tranquil meditation practice that typically involves being surrounded by various sounds and vibrations created by singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and other instruments. The purpose of a sound bath is to promote relaxation, stress relief, and inner peace. Participants typically lie down or sit comfortably while the sounds and vibrations wash over them, allowing them to let go of their thoughts and distractions and sink into a state of deep relaxation and mindfulness. Some people find that the combination of different sounds and vibrations can help to balance their energy centers and improve their overall sense of well-being.

About hOm

hOm is a unique and immersive sound bath experience based out of Columbus, Ohio where modern sound therapy, traditional sound healing, and musical composition all come together providing a space for rest, relaxation, and healing. We create multi-practitioner sound healing environments using a wide range of acoustic and electronic instruments, atmospheric sound synthesis, and immersive performance to create a tranquil soundscape that washes over you to encourage a sense of safety, stillness, and relief.

Combining ancient sound healing principles and recent studies on the benefits of sound therapy, we focus on creating an experience that meets you where you are to provide what you need, from physical rest to emotional release and beyond. Sound baths are a wonderful opportunity to free yourself from the noise of the mind and tune into the song of the heart with proven health benefits of lowering stress, reducing cortisol levels, improving sleep quality, and so much more.
