CMA, in partnership with Columbus Symphony Orchestra (CSO), presents this afternoon series pairing lectures exploring works of art with chamber music performances. This program is part of CSO’s Russian Winter Festival I: Rachmaninoff and Tchaikovsky and will explore landscape views of winter by European and American painters, from Old Masters to contemporary artists. The works range from scenes of leisure time amusement and frolic in the snow to moving meditations on death and redemption.
