In celebration of what would have been Columbus artist Sid Chafetz’s 95th birthday, a sampling of his etchings, lithographs, and woodcuts are on view. Each reflects the artist’s engaging wit, biting satire, and social commentary on subjects ranging from his favorite poets to the false prophets that enraged him. For four decades, Chafetz taught at OSU where he helped make the printmaking department one of the best in the country. Join Curator-at-Large Carole Genshaft as she explores the life and work of this master printmaker. Cost of the program is $20 for nonmembers (includes general admission) and $5 for CMA members.
