The Board of Trustees of the Columbus Museum of Art invites you to a special Art Celebration that honors our past and celebrates our future.
The feature of this year’s event is an insider’s perspective of the private world of artist Vincent van Gogh. Internationally acclaimed curator Ann Dumas will share an intimate view of the artist through his letters and paintings. Her presentation is inspired by the provocative exhibition The Real van Gogh: The Artist and His Letters, which she organized for The Royal Academy in London. Ms. Dumas is best known in Columbus as CMA’s curator at large who organized our memorable exhibitions Renoir’s Women and Edgar Degas: The Last Landscapes.
Other highlights of the evening include a tribute honoring a decade of Board of Trustee leadership, cocktails and a sneak peek of the construction in progress, and an elegant, seated dinner in the galleries.
Tickets are $500 per person. Cocktail attire. For details or to purchase tickets, please call Lucy Ackley at 614.629.0351.
