A popular concert with traditional and contemporary audiences alike, The Tony Hagood Quintet will present new popular jazz compositions from jazz composers and musicians within the last 10 years. When presenting similar concerts in the past, these concerts always elicit the most audience feedback. Audience members want the setlist, they want to know more about the composers they haven’t heard of, they are pleasantly surprised there is so much music they truly enjoyed.
We work hard to curate music we love that is accessible to audiences of all musical backgrounds. This concert will feature new compositions we haven’t covered in the past from composers like Samara Joy, Jacob Collier, Jazzmeia Horn, Kurt Elling, Taylor Eigsti, Esperanza Spalding, Roy Hargrove, Gretchen Parlato, Micah Thomas, Emmet Cohen, Gerald Clayton, Brad Mehldau and more. Our 2023–2024 season closer, this concert is one we are extra proud to share with our audience and will be popular.
Tickets are $20 for members, $25 for non-members in advance, and $30 for everyone at the door.
