1st Saturdays

Have fun and explore art together during this spirited program. Each 1st Saturdays program celebrates an artist, a current exhibition, or a theme from the CMA collection and includes an interactive gallery game, hands-on art project, and a related arts performance such as music, storytelling, or theater. In February, food is the feature for a delicious 1st Saturdays. Go on a fantastic food hunt in Don't Eat the Art, then design jumbo pillows inspired by your favorite tasty treat. Be sure to check out the food sculptures created by Rock on Ice. This program is free with admission, no registration requested.
Learning to Look Tour

Look for The Inside Story on our calendar. Want to learn how to look at and interpret a work of art? Join us for Learning to Look tours that delve into a few works of art. Enjoy fun, interactive gallery activities and create unique art projects together. Each month, we feature a different gallery, theme, and activity. In February, create your own tumbleweed inspired by contemporary artist Latifa Echakhch. This program is recommended for families with children ages six and older and is free with admission, no registration requested.

Art Challenges

Visit the Art Challenges station in the galleries to participate in exciting, art-based games that highlight a CMA artwork or collection. Compete against friends and family members, or challenge the scores posted by other visitors. All are welcome to participate and prizes are part of the fun.

Jefferson's Signature Series Euclid String Quartet

The Jefferson Signature Series presents chamber music with a blend of internationally acclaimed ensembles, emerging young groups, and regional and local performers. This collaboration with the School of Music at The Ohio State University was named in honor of Thomas Jefferson who appreciated all of the arts and recognized their essential role in a nation's life. Tickets can be purchased at the door; tickets are for nonmembers are adults $25, seniors $18, and students $10. Special CMA Member price is $18.
